FARGO (KFGO-AM) - The city of Fargo is preparing the launch of a new website.
Mayor Tim Mahoney gave a preview with a flashy powerpoint presentation during the annual state of the cities event Thursday hosted by the Fargo, Moorhead, West Fargo Chamber of Commerce.
The mayor says among other things, the revamped web site will give you the chance to weigh in on city issues that will be posted regularly. He says the interactive page will provide decision makers with a sense what residents are thinking. Mahoney believes people will be more willing to respond on line than they would in person.
A real-time survey via text and twitter of the 600 people who attended the Chamber of Commerce event found 80% favored a convention center over a performing arts center in Fargo.
