ARTHUR, N.D. (KFGO-AM) Authorities are investigating a series of business burglaries overnight in Cass and Traill counties.
Deputy Myron Kanalis says the All Stop convenience store in Traill County, Nepstad Oil in Hunter, and the Arthur Mall were hit. He says the investigation is very preliminary. Investigators are working to gather surveillance video to help in identifying suspects. Some items taken in the burglaries were found along a highway south of Arthur, including a cash register.
A grocery store and pharmacy were hit in the break-in at the Arthur Mall. It appears prescription drugs were taken from the pharmacy. Kanalis says glass doors were shattered to gain entry to the businesses
