Sisseton, S.D. - South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley says a shooting on the Lake Traverse Indian Reservation that left four people dead and one injured was the result of domestic violence.
Jackley says 22-year-old Colter Arbach was the lone gunman in the Nov. 22 attack in Sisseton. Arbach shot and killed 31-year-old Vernon Renville Jr., 29-year-old Candace Labelle, and 25-year-old Angela Adams. Twenty-two-year-old Karissa DogEagle was injured.
Authorities say Arbach shot and killed himself.
Jackley says a Sisseton police officer on routine patrol noticed a vehicle idling in a driveway with doors open and an individual lying on the ground near the driver's door. The officer discovered four unresponsive individuals and one seriously wounded responsive female.
