A Fargo man is facing a number of charges following a hit and run accident in south Fargo on Thursday. Police stopped a vehicle that struck a mail box in the 4400 block of Carrie Rose Lane.
One of the occupants, Taylor Meyer was wanted on a Fargo warrand for driving under suspension.
Police say as he was being arrested, he punched an officer and then kicked out a squad car window.
Meyer is facing charges of assault on a police officer, resisting arrest and criminal mischief to a vehicle.
The officer did not require medical treatment.
