FARGO (KFGO-AM) -- If you're a customer of Cass County Electric, expect some money back.
The cooperative's board of directors has okayed what it calls a "purchased power adjustment holiday" for December.
Chief Financial Officer Chad Sapa says customers will see total savings of up to a $1 million.
Sapa says the rebate is a result of lower than expected operating expenses and rapid growth across its system.
Depending on the size of the December bill, customers will either see a credit or receive a check from the cooperative. Cass County Electric has about 39,700 customers.
