FARGO (KFGO-AM) -- The family of Mayor Dennis Walaker has approved media coverage of his funeral and KFGO will carry the funeral "live." The service will additionally be streamed at kfgo.com.
The funeral is scheduled for 10am Sunday at Reineke Fine Arts Center on the NDSU campus. Visitation is planned an hour prior to the service and also Sat. from 7-9am at Boulger Funeral Home in Fargo.
Walaker died at his home Tues. night, shortly after he had been released from the hospital. He was diagnosed with kidney cancer last summer.
