FARGO (KFGO-AM) - Another high-ranking departure at the Fargo Police Dept. Deputy Police Chief Pat Claus tells KFGO News that he has resigned, effective Nov. 26th.
Claus says his resignation has no connection to this week's retirement of police chief Keith Ternes. Ternes resigned in the midst of an investigation of alleged morale and disciplinary problems at the department.
Claus says he has accepted a job with a Fargo-area non-profit. He earlier applied to be the police chief in Grand Forks, but later withdrew his application.
Claus has been with the Fargo Police Dept. for 24-1/2 years.
