GRAND FORKS (KFGO-AM) The Grand Forks Sheriff's Office arrested a man wanted on several warrants after a short chase Friday afternoon.
He fled a traffic stop in a rural area, eventually jumping out of his car and running on foot. Sheriff's deputies, a k-9 unit, and U.S. Border Patrol agents searched the sounding area and were able to locate Michael Wright. He was arrested on charges of fleeing, unauthorized use of license plates, and driving under suspension.
Wright was wanted on a Federal probation warrant, two warrants out of Cavalier County and one from Towner County.
