(Duluth, MD) -- Al Franken will continue to represent Minnesota as a U.S. Senator after defeating republican challenger Mike McFadden. This is Franken's second consecutive term. He first got elected to office in 2009, beating out Norm Coleman in an arduous race that included a recount, an election contest and an appeal.
