FARGO (KFGO-AM) An argument between two groups of intoxicated people quickly turned violent in the parking lot of the Scandia Inn in downtown Fargo Sunday evening.
Samuel Ortley, Junior, 20, was arrested for attempted murder. He's accused to stabbing another man multiple times during the melee. His father, Samuel Ortley, Senior, was also arrested on a warrant out of Mahnomen county. Both men are from Mahnomen.
The stabbing victim's name and condition have not been released. One of the Ortley's was treated and released from the hospital for a head injury.
The younger Ortley was also charged with criminal mischief for kicking out a camera in the rear seat of a patrol car and was cited for minor in possession.
Police say additional arrests are possible.
