Bismarck, N.D. (AP) North Dakota health officials have tallied four tuberculosis cases in October.
Dee Pritschet is the TB controller at the North Dakota Health Department. Pritschet says that the number of cases is not unusual as the state typically sees between five and 12 cases every year.
North Dakota's last tuberculosis outbreak was in 2012. Twenty-six cases were reported that year.
Pritschet adds that October's cases were reported in various areas of the state.
