Bismarck, N.D. (AP) North Dakota might change its policy on state-owned videos and photos after some images were used in political advertising.

Supporters of spending a bigger portion of North Dakota's oil tax revenues on conservation projects are using video from the state tourism department in TV ads.

State Tourism Director Sara Otte Coleman says images are available to anyone under the state's open records laws. She says the intent is to promote tourism and not for political purposes.

Ducks Unlimited Regional Director Steve Adair is chairman of the initiative campaign. He says people in the ads signed releases with the state that allows their images to be used.

Al Freidig of Devils Lake is shown in one of the ads fishing with his buddies. Freidig says he doesn't support the measure.
