LINTON, NORTH DAKOTA (KFGO-AM) -- North Dakota Game And Fish is looking for whoever shot four white-tail deer out of season.
Two bucks were found dead in a stubble field east of Strasburg, and a doe and fawn were found dead southwest of Linton during the pheasant opener last weekend. Game Warden Erik Schmidt says the shootings were senseless. He says one of the bucks was a 5x5 trophy buck.
A $1,000 reward is being offered in the case. Anyone with information is asked to call the Report All Poachers Hotline (800) 472-2121.
