WEST FARGO (KFGO-AM) A large collection of historical artifacts will be going on the auction block at Bonanzaville in West Fargo.
The Cass County Historical Society is clearing out a warehouse on the grounds filled with antiques. There are too many to display and many are duplicates. The items have been donated over the years and people don't want them back. Executive Director Brenda Warren says going through boxes and crates they're coming up with amazing finds.
The thousands of pieces to be sold to the highest bidder range from firearms to furniture and even two vintage fire trucks. Items salvaged from the fire damaged St. Johns Church at Bonanzaville will also be sold.
The sale is so large there will be two auction rings and phone bids will be accepted. Proceeds go to defray the cost of moving an old country church from Christine, North Dakota to Bonanzaville to replace the one destroyed in the June fire.
The auction is Saturday, October 11th at Bonanzaville, starting at 9 a.m. and will run throughout the day.
