Bismarck, N.D. (AP) The North Dakota Game and Fish Department has a new chief of wildlife.
Director Terry Steinwand has appointed 15-year department employee Jeb Williams as the new head of wildlife. Williams will succeed Randy Kreil, who announced his retirement in August.
Williams has been the assistant wildlife chief since 2011. He has also held the positions of biologist and wildlife resource management supervisor.
Williams is a native of beach. He earned a bachelor's degree in biology and resource management from Dickinson State University.
