MOORHEAD, Minn. (KFGO-AM) - Charges have been filed in a Barnesville marijuana investigation that began in June when a nine-year-old girl reported her parents to police.
Thirty-eight-year-old Jodi Anne Miller of Barnesville is charged with two felonies, including possession and sale of marijuana. Court documents say investigators found 7 plants in a crawlspace in the house, along with grow equipment and drug paraphernalia.
Earlier this summer, the girl went to the Barnesville Police Dept. and told an officer that her parents smoke marijuana every day, and that it makes her sick.
If convicted, Miller faces up to 20-years in prison and a $40,000 fine.
