MOORHEAD (KFGO-AM) -- Investigators say NDSU freshman Thomas Bearson was the victim of a homicide. The Ramsey County Medical Examiner has ruled the cause of Bearson's death as "homicidal violence." Bearson's body was found at Larry's RV in south Moorhead Tuesday morning. He was last seen leaving a party near NDSU early Saturday.
Moorhead police Lt. Tory Jacobson says Bearson's left shoe and cellphone have not been recovered. Police are asking the public to help locate Bearson's silver Iphone 5 and a white, size 9-and-a-half Nike Air Jordan tennis shoe.

Bearson, 18, was living in Reed Hall on campus at the time of his disappearance. He was from Sartell, Minnesota and was enrolled in the university's nursing program.
