FARGO (KFGO-AM) Could Garth Brooks return to Fargo? Don't count on it. But then again, who knows.
The country music star announced he'll hit Minneapolis with his world tour in mid-November with four concerts at the Target Center.
Fargodome manager Rob Sobolik says it's likely every venue in the country is talking to Brooks' concert promoter but Sobolik was non-committal when asked if he's tried to book Brooks.
Sobolik says Brooks is being "very strategic" about where he plays on his comeback tour that's already a sell-out in many cities. His wife, singer Trisha Yearwood is the opening act.
Brooks' sold-out concerts at the Fargodome in 1993 are legendary. The volume of calls the day tickets went on sale was so huge, Fargo's telephone system was temporarily overloaded. That's when Brooks announced he'd add a second concert at the Fargodome
