MOORHEAD (KFGO-AM) -- The 8th St. and I-94 interchange in Moorhead will get a re-do beginning in 2016.
More than 80,000 vehicles pass through that area daily.
Mn-DOT held an open house Tuesday night to talk more about the project. The state plans to construct a diverging diamond interchange along with the current bridge. The change will allow double the number of cars to go through without stopping.
Construction is set to start in spring or summer of 2016. It's expected to take one season to finish.
