FARGO (KFGO-AM) -- A Fargo non-profit is offering North Dakota's only permanent supportive housing to homeless youth.
Fraser Limited's newest facility gives at-risk youth a place to live and chance at a fresh start. The facility on S. Univ. can currently houses eight people ages 16-26. Each resident pays rent based on their income.
The facility offers a support system the young people may not have had when they were on their own, like mental health counseling and money management. They also learn how to cook, clean, find a job, finish school, and get into college.
When construction of the facility is finished, it will offer 21 single units and four family units.
