FARGO (KFGO-AM) - Fargo police are following up on tips from the public that could lead them to the man wanted for the assault of a woman in the parking lot of West Acres Mall.
Lt. Joel Vettel says officers plan to canvas the area again to look for additional surveilance video that may have caught the incident. Mall surveillance camera's were able to provide police with an initial description of the man.
Anyone who was in or near the mall's south parking lot Thursday around 11 a.m.that may have seen anything out of the ordinary is asked to contact police.
The victim was punched in the head by a stranger when she resisted his orders to get in her vehicle. The man is believed to have been armed with a handgun.
