It wasn't pretty, but it was a win. And that means ESPN's College Game Day is coming to Fargo next Saturday.
North Dakota State's No. 1-ranked football team beat Weber State 24-7 Saturday night, it's 26th straight victory. The Bison struggled at times against a Wildcats team that went 2-10 a year ago while allowing more than 40 points per game.
The big news of the day, however, came much earlier Saturday morning when ESPN College Game Day producer Lee Fitting sent out a message on Twitter indicating the pregame show would return to Fargo next weekend if the Bison beat the Wildcats. ESPN made it official with NDSU leading 21-7 in the fourth quarter, when both ESPN and on-air talent Sam Ponder tweeted the show would return to Fargo.
