FARGO (KFGO-AM) - A public piano put out on the street in downtown Fargo has been hit by vandals.
The brightly painted, so-called "kitty piano" was the first effort of the Piano Project, and had been placed along Broadway less than two weeks ago.
Susanne Williams -- Executive Director of the Uptown Gallery on Broadway -- posted on Facebook that it was uprighted after it was found tipped over Saturday morning.
An attempt to protect the piano from weekend rains failed when someone had pulled a protective tarp off of the piano and the keys are sticking, making it unplayable.
