FARGO (AP) - A Moorhead lawyer who was suspended by the Minnesota Supreme Court is facing a similar ban in North Dakota.
Joan LaRae Meidinger was suspended in Minnesota for a minimum of six months for failing to cooperate with a disciplinary investigation. Officials say a panel wanted to ask her about a complaint from a former client, and she failed to respond.
Meidinger filed notice in federal court earlier this week that she would not contest the suspension in North Dakota. A final order has not been issued.
