DETROIT LAKES (KFGO-AM) -- If you're traveling in the Detroit Lakes area the next several days, expect plenty of company as We Fest gets underway.
Detroit Lakes Police Chief Tim Eggebraaten says for as many people as they get in town, it amazes him at how smoothly everything goes. Eggebraaten says We Fest does a great job, and the State Patrol, Becker County Sheriff's office and Detroit Lakes Police step up to do their job.
The kick-off party is Wednesday. Thursday night's headliner is Jason Aldean. Florida Georgia Line also takes the stage Thursday. Brad Paisley and The Band Perry are Friday's big acts, while Zac Brown Band, Brantley Gilbert, and Travis Tritt wrap things up Saturday night.
More than 45,000 people are expected each day of the festival.
