(AP) Theodore Roosevelt's love of the country's natural beauty spurred him to create and conserve hundreds of national forests, parks and monuments during his presidency, but his legacy is being preserved digitally. A devoted group of scholars and Roosevelt admirers in North Dakota has been scanning his papers and artifacts for years. Now the Theodore Roosevelt Center in Dickinson is finalizing a design for a library and museum commemorating the life of the 26th president. But unlike the presidential libraries that came before it, the library for the trust-busting president will feature a collection that is primarily digital. Set on the edge of the North Dakota Badlands, the officials hopes to commemorate Roosevelt's work and the land he loved.
