PARK RAPIDS (KFGO-AM) -- A Menagha, Minnesota man has been indicted on a first degree murder charge in the death of a Park Rapids woman.
Harley Leritz, 21, is charged in the February killing of 19 year old Kiela Knowles, who was found murdered in her apartment. She was survived by a two year old son.
Leritz admitted to having sex with Knowles and then choking her.
The two talked on Facebook and had met in person for the first time the weekend of her murder. Leritz was on probation for a 2012 criminal sexual conduct charge.
Bail for Leritz is set at $1 million, with conditions.
He's due in court July 7.
