GRANDIN (KFGO-AM) -- The North Dakota Highway Patrol believes distracted driving contributed to a fatal pickup/bicycle crash in Traill County Saturday night.
David Hawkinson, 50, of West Fargo was riding his bicycle on Highway 81 north of Grandin when a pickup came up from behind and hit him, and throwing him off his bike.
Charges are pending against the driver, 26 year old Justin Jalbert of Hunter.
