NEW UNDERWOOD, S.D. (AP) - A dust storm that left a stretch of I-90 with "zero visibility'' caused a nine-vehicle collision Friday evening near New Underwood
The crash shut down I-90 eastbound and caused injuries that sent multiple people to the hospital. The State Highway Patrol says no one was reported dead at the scene.
The accident involving two semi-trailers and seven other vehicles was a few miles west of New Underwood.
Law enforcement agencies were keeping the highway closed Friday night to reconstruct the accident scene.
