FARGO, N.D. (KFGO AM) -- FM Diversion Authority members took time yesterday to congratulate one another on getting the project authorized.
It was one of the final hurdles left before construction can start.
Fargo Mayor Dennis Walaker was sitting in the third row when the president signed the bill approving construction of the project.
He says it was quite the experience.
Congress still needs to pass legislation to pay for the 36 mile, $2 billion diversion.
