SIOUX FALLS, SD (KFGO-AM) -- Two 15-year-old runaways from Fargo are being held on armed robbery charges in Sioux Falls, SD.
Sioux Falls police say a 12-year-old girl told officers two black males had come to her door in an apartment building between 4:30 and 5pm.
Police spokesman Sam Clemens says one of the boys pointed a gun at her and demanded her cell phone, and when one grabbed her phone, they ran.
Clemens says police learned the two runaways had possibly been living in a stolen car for several days.
He says they may also have been responsible for other crimes, including an attempted carjacking.
Both boys were charged with first-degree robbery and fleeing police, and one was charged with aggravated assault on law enforcement.
