FARGO, N.D. (AP) - A Kenyan man has won the 10th annual Fargo Marathon.
Peter Kemboi crossed the finish line Saturday with an unofficial time of 2 hours, 26 minutes, 54 seconds.
Kemboi, originally of Kenya, now resides in Hebron, Kentucky.
More than 23,000 runners are participating in five races over three days in Fargo, including the full marathon
The marathon started at 8 a.m. on the Veterans Memorial Bridge that connects Fargo to Moorhead, Minnesota. Kemboi crossed the finish line in front of the historic Fargo Theater.
The marathon started a decade ago with more than 2,300 runners.
