FARGO, ND. (KFGO AM) -- Complaints against the Cass County Sheriff's Office led to two resignations, four reprimands, three suspensions and one demotion last year.
Those findings were part of the department's newly-released 2013 annual report.
Inmates complained about use of force, sexual misconduct or harassment.
Public complaints included rudeness, use of force, and inappropriate comments.
Within the department, employees complained about nine topics, including lost inmate funds, failing to do welfare checks, failing to perform daily tasks and falsifying paperwork.
The report also details changes in the budget and jail, and the department's response to the December oil train derailment and explosion in Casselton.
