FARGO (KFGO-AM) There's already some push-back about a traffic impact study in the neighborhood's surrounding a proposed 60 home development on the former Cardinal Muench Seminary property in north Fargo.

The study, done by a consultant hired by the developer of Edgewood Estates says there will be "negligible impacts" to surrounding roadways where traffic volumes are currently low.  It estimates future traffic volumes will increase by 646 vehicles daily. Neighborhood resident Alexander Wagner is not buying the results. He says the project and the traffic it creates will have a "huge impact", dropping property values for those homes now closest to the traffic routes.

The study was required before the Planning Commission holds a final hearing on the project in early June. The panel will then make a recommendation on whether the project can proceed. That recommendation will then go to the city commission for a final decision.
