VALLEY CITY, N.D. (KFGO-AM) -- Members of Valley Water Rescue from Fargo have joined the search for a missing Valley City State University student in the Sheyenne river in Valley City.
The student was with two others in a raft that capsized early Monday morning when it went over a low-head dam on the south side of Valley City. The two others made it to shore.
The Corps of Engineers, at the request of the police and fire departments, agreed to reduce the flows at Bald Hill Dam upstream. The river level is high due to spring runoff.
