MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- An arbitrator says Minnesota State University, Mankato, had no grounds to fire football coach Todd Hoffner and he should be reinstated. Hoffner's attorney confirmed the ruling Thursday and says Hoffner is weighing his options. Hoffner was charged in 2012 with two child pornography counts after video of his naked children was found on his work phone.

The charges were dismissed after a judge determined the images were innocent.

Hoffner was fired last May for undisclosed reasons.

But an arbitrator's report says he was fired for viewing pornography on his work computer.

The arbitrator ruled there was no proof, noting Hoffner denied it and others had access to the computer. The university says employers are bound by arbitration awards. Hoffner coaches at Minot State.
