FARGO, ND. (KFGO AM) -- A light dusting of snow overnight, but you will find most highways in fair driving condition this morning with scattered compacted snow and ice that will require drivers to be cautious on the morning commute.
One of the trouble spots -- the Red River Bridge on I-94 between Fargo and Moorhead, the scene of several accidents yesterday.
It's the latest in a rash of crashes since last week.
De-icers don't work in the bitter cold and the bridge deck is often very slippery.
Tt was a different story in southwest and southcentral North Dakota late yesterday afternoon and evening where winds and snow prompted a Blizzard Warning.
Only a couple of inches of snow there but high winds gusting to 45 mph caused white out conditions across a number of counties.
