FARGO, ND (KFGO AM) -- A mix of rain and snow developed last night in the extreme southern end of the Red River Valley that turned over to mostly snow after midnight, spreading east into Minnesota, with reports of sometimes heavy snow along the North and South Dakota border areas well into west central Minnesota.
There's been a sharp cut off from "no snow" to the north, including the Fargo-Moorhead area while areas to the south and east have picked up snow.
MNDOT reports some snow cover on many roads in western Minnesota with scattered icy spots, including I-94 from Rothsay to Alexandria.
Travel conditions are generally good to fair.
