FARGO (KFGO-AM) - It's been a profitable year for the company that's acquiring Fargo-based "Stop-n-Go" stores. "Casey's General Stores" says third-quarter fiscal sales remained strong despite difficult weather.
Casey's says total gallons of fuel sold for the year rose more than 9%, grocery and merchandise sales were up nearly 12% and prepared food sales climbed more than 16%.
In addition to 32 Stop-n-Go stores being purchased, Casey's also has 25 new stores and 15 replacement stores under construction.
