BISMARCK, ND (KFGO AM) -- Six people have applied for two openings on the North Dakota Board of Higher Education.
Superintendent of Public Instruction Kirsten Baesler chairs the nominating committee that will review the applicants and forward a list of finalists April 1st to the governor who will make the appointments.
The applicants are Kirsten Diederich of Fargo, Curt Kreun of Grand Forks, Kevin Melicher of Fargo, Michael Ness of Hazen, Rod St. Aubyn of West Fargo and Ben Vig of Sharon.
Diederich is the current President of the Board of Higher Education and is seeking a second four year term.
