FARGO (KFGO-AM) - A federal copyright infringement lawsuit that challenged the name of a Fargo adult novelty store has been settled. Minneapolis-based “Fantasy Gifts” filed the claim against the owners of the former “Fantasy’s.”
"Fantasy Gifts" claimed "Fantasy's" used a nearly identical logo and caused confusion among customers.
Court documents say the settlement has been settled for $5001 plus court costs and attorney's fees.
The name of the stores in Fargo, East Grand Forks and Ramsey, Minn. must also be changed. Those stores are now called "Enchantasy’s."
