GRAND FORKS (KFGO-AM) -- It was a heated preliminary hearing in Grand Forks for several people who are now charged with murder.
Jasmine Blue, Vincent Gladue, and Thomas Begg have been in jail since November on conspiracy to commit burglary charges. Blue's ex-boyfriend, Ruben Ciseneros, was stabbed to death in his home November 17th.
Authorities say Blue, Gladue, Begg and Joe Saucedo went to the house to pick up Blue's belongings. They say Saucedo is the person who stabbed Cisneros.
Prosecutors say they added murder charges for the other three because they knew Saucedo was going to cause harm. Defense Attorney Blake Hankey disputes that and says the prosecution's case has a lot of inconsistencies.
The judge will decide probable cause on Moday and there is a chance the judge can dismiss the charges.
Saucedo waived his hearing and is due in court next week.
