FARGO (KFGO-AM) A suspect in the February 24th armed robbery of the Petro Serve on South University Drive in Fargo has been arrested.
Lt. Joel Vettel says the Red River Valley Swat Team and police detectives served a warrant at an apartment at 1438 17th Street South about 1 PM Thursday. The Swat Team used a "flash bang" grenade to gain entry. They detained 3 people for questioning and then arrested Ibrahim Kardor, 20, of Fargo who had been staying at the residence. A second suspect is still being sought. Kardor was also arrested on a felony charge of delivery of marijuana in a school zone. South High is nearby. Police seized about a half pound of pot in the residence. He was also wanted on two unrelated Cass County warrants.
It's the second arrest of a robbery suspect made by Fargo police in the past week. Ewing Mathis, wanted for the hold-up of a Stop-N-Go in North Fargo was taken into custody in Dilworth.
