The North Dakota State University men's basketball team clinched the Summit Leageu regular season Thursday night with a 82-54 victory over the University of South Dakota. Senior's Taylor Braun and Mike Felt led the team in scoring with 15 points while fellow seniors TrayVonn Wright and Marshall Bjorklund added 14 and 13 points respectively.
The Bison (22-6; 11-2) end the regular season at home with a Saturday night game against the University of Denver. The Bison will start the Summit League tournament on Monday, March 10 at 6 p.m. in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
This is the second time NDSU has won the Summit League regular season title, with the first being in the 2008-09 season. That year, the Bison went on to win the Summit League tournament and earn an automatic berth into the NCAA tournament.
