GRAND FORKS, ND (KFGO-AM) - The preliminary autopsy report on Marcell Willis, the gunman in last week's deadly shootings at Grand Forks' south Walmart shows he died of a gunshot wound to his head and had a blood alcohol level of .19, more twice the legal limit.
The 21-year old Grand Forks airman shot and killed one store employee and wounded another worker before shooting himself.
Doctor Sarah Meyers of the University of North Dakota Forensic and Autopsy Service says the toxicology information is incomplete and may change due to additional testing. The final autopsy report may not be completed for four to six weeks.
Police Lt. Derik Zimmel says interviews are still being conducted with eyewitnesses and others who may have information about the shooting but investigators are no closer to determining a motive for the shooting rampage.
