Farmers are taking less cash to the bank.
According to the February report released by the USDA National Net Farm Income is expected to be down 32% from last year…the lowest since 2009.
Net Farm Cash Income is anticipated to be 22% from 2014.
James Webb with the Farmers of North America believes the story of farmers losing money isn’t getting the attention it deserves.
Webb says farmers need to take advantage of their market power.
He says alliances maximize shareholder wealth.
Farmers of North America will be holding meetings in South Dakota, Minnesota and North Dakota.
There will be a lunch in Grand Forks and a Supper in Carrington on June 10 th .
June 11 th the group will host a lunch in Hebron and a supper in Mandan.
