GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) - A Grand Forks man has been charged with attempted murder after a shooting in an apartment.
Mohamed Aweis Mohamed is charged with terrorizing, reckless endangerment and attempted murder.
Police say officers responded to a report of a disturbance involving a firearm about 11:30 p.m. Thursday and arrested the 31-year-old Mohamed at the scene without incident.
Mohamed was taken to a hospital to be treated for injuries he suffered in the altercation in the apartment before being taken into custody.
He had his initial appearance Friday afternoon. An attorney for the man is not listed.
