A North Dakota man accused of holding up a Williston bank last fall has pleaded guilty in federal court.

Court records show 57-year-old Drew Cahours on Tuesday changed his plea to guilty to one count of bank robbery.

Authorities say Cahours handed a First International Bank teller a note on Nov. 13 that read, "Don't say anything or there will be trouble." Investigators say the robbery netted about $1,400.

KXMB-TV reports Cahours told Judge Daniel Hovland he "kind of lost his mind" after returning from seeing his wife in Florida with $7 to his name.

Cahours, of Watford City, says he is ashamed of his actions and plans to repay the money. Cahours says he has 14 children and moved to North Dakota to work in the Bakken in 2013.
