BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - North Dakota's Game and Fish Department this year is continuing its program to help children remember the first time they caught a fish.
The "First Fish" certificates are available to anyone free of charge, and there's no qualifying weights or measurements. The only requirement is the successful landing of a fish in North Dakota waters.
The certificate has room for such information as name, age, lake and a short fish story, along with a blank space for a photograph.
People who want a certificate can call the Game and Fish Department at 701-328-6300 or send an email to ndgf@nd.gov.
