FARGO (KFGO-AM) - The National Transportation Safety Board says it could take more than a year to determine the cause of an oil train derailment near Heimdal, ND.
About 20 residents had to leave their homes after six tanker cars derailed on May 6th. Four of the tankers ruptured and caught fire.
NTSB spokesman Keith Holloway says it's still early in the investigation. He says it could take 12-14 months before a final report is issued.
